- தலையில் இருக்கும் வரை அழகாகப் பேணப்படும் மயிர், கீழே உதிர்ந்துவிட்டால் யாராலும் மதிக்கப்படாமல் ஒதுக்கப்படுகிறது. அதுபோலவே, இழிந்த செயலால் தம் உயர்ந்த நிலையிலிருந்து தாழ்ந்துவிட்ட மனிதர்களும் மதிப்பிழந்து போவார்கள். பெற்ற பெருமையைக் காத்துக்கொள்வது அதைப் பெறுவதைவிடப் பெரிது என்பதை இது உணர்த்துகிறது.
