BJP leader Tamilisai Sundararajan on Saturday questioned Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin’s absence at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Madurai.

Speaking to reporters, Tamilisai said she “wished to raise one question” about why the Chief Minister did not attend the event.

The remarks came in the context of PM Modi’s public programme in Madurai, which drew political attention in the state.

No immediate response from the Chief Minister’s office was cited in the report.
