Tehran said it carried out a missile attack targeting Israel’s prime minister’s office, and claimed it is unclear whether Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is alive.
According to Iran, the strike also hit an Israeli air force office. The claim was made by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The statement comes amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. Iran said Israel and the United States have been conducting joint attacks on Iran for a third consecutive day.
Iran also said it would retaliate and would not engage in negotiations, while attacks on US military bases have added to regional anxiety. The latest claim has triggered fresh concern and uncertainty over the situation.
