President Droupadi Murmu on Monday advised newly inducted IAS officers to make full use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions to simplify administrative systems and improve service delivery to citizens.
Speaking at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, the President said the country’s progress would be meaningful only when the benefits of development reach the most vulnerable and backward sections.
She urged officers to work tirelessly to ensure that no community is left out due to geographical, social or economic reasons. As they take up responsibilities at district and state levels, she called on them to adopt an integrated approach that goes beyond departmental boundaries to strengthen governance.
Highlighting technology-driven reforms, Murmu pointed to AI solutions, digital grievance redressal mechanisms and real-time analytics as tools to streamline administration and ensure that services reach even the last mile.
She also reminded officers to act with a “nation first” spirit, stressing that integrity, transparency and accountability are the foundations of public service and key to sustaining people’s trust.
