TVK leader Vijay is set to announce a set of women-focused election promises today, as part of the party’s Assembly election commitments.
According to a statement issued by the TVK leadership, the party is marking International Women’s Day with a special celebration in Chennai.
The event, to be attended by Vijay, will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Mamallapuram from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Vijay is expected to outline schemes and plans aimed at women during the programme.
The party said entry will be permitted only for those with passes.
TVK also announced that Women’s Day celebrations will be held across all districts tomorrow.
