New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and party spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi has declared assets worth Rs 2,558 crore in the affidavit filed along with his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha election.

Singhvi, a lawyer by profession and announced as the Congress candidate from Telangana, also reported an annual income of Rs 374 crore. The affidavit lists his income over recent years, including Rs 333 crore in 2023-24 and Rs 158 crore in 2020-21, indicating a rise to Rs 374 crore in 2024-25.

The filing includes details of movable and immovable assets such as bank deposits, stock market investments, vehicles and jewellery. Singhvi has declared jewellery worth Rs 2.40 crore, while his wife has reported jewellery valued at Rs 157.53 crore.

The affidavit also mentions large bungalows in New Delhi owned by Singhvi and his wife. It records bank liabilities of Rs 353.32 crore for Singhvi and Rs 72.99 crore for his wife.

Among other disclosures, Singhvi has valued household electrical appliances, furniture and computers at Rs 163 crore. He stated that there are no criminal cases pending against him, and reported income tax dues of Rs 63 crore.
