New Delhi: Union minister Giriraj Singh launched a sharp attack on Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, using strong language to question his leadership and political approach.
Singh said he had not seen a Leader of Opposition “without vision” like Rahul. He alleged that after demanding a vote against the Speaker, the opposition walked out of the House, and claimed this reflected a lack of seriousness.
In the same remarks, Singh also targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, alleging that she and Rahul behaved like “urban Naxals”. He accused the Trinamool Congress government of failing to address major issues affecting the state.
Singh further claimed that Banerjee does not speak about unemployment or sexual violence against women, and instead focuses her criticism on institutions such as the Election Commission, the Lok Sabha and the Speaker. He also alleged that public money had been looted for 15 years and said people would demand accountability for every paisa.
