Chennai RERA has granted permission for fresh complaints to be registered against DMDK treasurer Sudheesh in connection with a housing project in Madhavaram, where homes were allegedly not handed over as per the agreement.

Sudheesh and his wife Poornajothi, as landowners, are implementing an apartment project on their land along with Loka Developers. Earlier, five buyers, including Balathandapani, approached the Real Estate Regulatory Authority alleging that the constructed homes were not delivered within the stipulated time.

In its order, a bench headed by RERA Chairman Shivdas Meena noted that the petitioners had pointed out multiple deficiencies in the developer’s conduct in the project.

The bench also recorded that sale deeds had been registered for certain individuals by the developer and the landowners. Therefore, it allowed the remaining persons to newly register their complaints against the landowners, Sudheesh and Poornajothi.
