Tiruchy remarks

Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) coordinator Seeman on Friday called on world nations to intervene and bring ongoing international conflicts to an end, warning that war leads to heavy loss of human lives.

Fuel and economic impact

Speaking to reporters in Tiruchy, he said the continued conflict has contributed to gas shortages, and remarked that without petrol and diesel, political campaigning could be forced back to bicycles.

Social responsibility and safety

Seeman also spoke about declining safety for women and children, linking it to social moral deterioration and substance abuse among many offenders. He said preventing such crimes is not only the government’s duty but also society’s responsibility.

Politics and priorities

He cautioned that if caste becomes politics, equality will be destroyed; if religion becomes politics, humanity will be destroyed; and if money becomes politics, culture and morality will erode. Reiterating NTK’s focus, he said basic needs such as education, healthcare, drinking water, roads and employment must be ensured for people.
