The Tamil Nadu government on Friday issued orders transferring and reassigning several IPS officers.
Bala Naga Devi has been appointed as the Director General of Police (DGP) for the Police Intelligence wing. She has been promoted from the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) to DGP.
In another change, Santosh Kumar, Inspector General (IG) in the Economic Offences Wing, has been given additional charge as Economic ADGP.
IG Rupesh Kumar Meena has also been assigned additional responsibility as ADGP of the Civil Supplies Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the order said.
