NTK chief coordinator Seeman on Friday said there would be “no compromise” even if crores of rupees and political positions were offered during alliance negotiations. Speaking in Devakottai, he claimed parties with a small vote share strike alliances through “seat and cash bargaining”, while his party refused to yield despite having a larger vote base.
Seeman, who is planning to contest from the Karaikudi Assembly constituency, met members of the Jamaat at a mosque in Devakottai to seek support. Local Jamaat office-bearers honoured him with a shawl before his address.
In his speech, Seeman said his party stood with people to fight injustice and criticised voters for backing those who created problems rather than those who protest for solutions. He asserted that his movement was not built on political lineage, wealth, cinema fame or media-backed influence, and said people from various walks of life—including farmers, fisherfolk and teachers—were on the streets in protest.
He also alleged that while rulers and governments change, the system remains the same, pointing to issues such as bribery and liquor outlets. Referring to reports that 10 districts in Tamil Nadu lack water resources, he questioned whether merely announcing such shortages was the government’s role and argued that paying money for votes fuels corruption.
Seeman further said that those who spend heavily to win elections would later seek to recover far more. He added that he was not asking directly for votes, but requested people to offer a brief prayer for his victory.
