Chennai: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Saturday said the Tamil Nadu government has made 1.55 lakh government job appointments over the past five years.

In a statement, he also said a total of 52,81,495 employment opportunities have been created during the period.

Referring to the “Naan Mudhalvan” initiative, Stalin said 145 students who benefited from the scheme have cleared the UPSC civil services examinations.

He highlighted the achievement of Subramaniya Bharathi, who cleared the exam in his first attempt at the age of 22, and said the government’s investments in education would reflect in broader social progress over the next five years.
