Chennai: Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Monday released a video titled “Achievements of the DMK government in the last five years”.
In the video, he claimed that 2,080 sexual assault incidents were reported over the past five years, and that 39,999 POCSO cases were registered during the same period.
Using these figures, Annamalai said “DMK rule is enough” and alleged that “enough people have died,” calling for a change.
He also shared additional video clips based on crime-related reports that appeared in newspapers over the five-year period.
