Saudi Arabia has warned Iran to immediately stop attacks targeting Gulf countries, saying continued strikes could force Riyadh to take military action.

Speaking to reporters in Riyadh, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud said halting attacks on Gulf states is the kingdom’s immediate priority. He added that Saudi Arabia is focused on regional stability and will use all political, economic and diplomatic tools available to end the attacks.

The minister said whatever limited trust previously existed with Iran has now collapsed, and stressed that Saudi Arabia is not intimidated by what he described as Iranian threats. He urged Iran to reconsider what he called its miscalculations, arguing that such attacks would bring no benefit.

He also said Saudi Arabia reserves the right to take military steps if it deems them necessary, and emphasized the need to ensure the security of maritime routes. Any threat to freedom of navigation, he said, would require coordinated international action.

Separately, Qatar reported a drone attack on what it described as the world’s largest LPG plant. Firefighting operations were under way, with two of three fires brought under control, and Qatar’s Interior Ministry said no injuries were reported. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump warned that if Qatar is attacked again, Iran’s gas storage facility would face a major strike.
