New Delhi: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has rejected claims circulating about petrol and diesel shortages in certain parts of the country, calling them completely unfounded.
In a statement, the company said there is no fuel shortage anywhere in India. It also noted that India is a country that exports petrol and diesel.
BPCL said it has sufficient inventories of crude oil, petrol, diesel and aviation turbine fuel, and that supplies are continuing without disruption.
The company added that BPCL is fully operational and remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted fuel distribution. It urged the public not to panic and not to stockpile fuel without necessity.
