Chennai: In the ongoing seat-sharing exercise, the AIADMK has allotted a set of high-profile constituencies currently represented by DMK ministers to its alliance partners.

According to the allocation, Minister Sivasankar’s Kunnam seat has been given to the IJK. Seats linked to Ministers Chakrapani (Ottanchathiram), Muthusamy (Erode West) and Gandhi (Ranipet) have been allotted to the TMC.

The AMMK has been assigned constituencies associated with Ministers Subramanian (Saidapet) and T.R.B. Raja (Mannargudi).

The BJP has been given five ministerial constituencies—Periyakaruppan (Tirupathur), Anita Radhakrishnan (Tiruchendur), Mano Thangaraj (Padmanabhapuram), Nasar (Avadi) and Velu (Tiruvannamalai)—along with Speaker Appavu’s Radhaapuram seat.
