Chennai: AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) on Thursday released the party’s second-phase list of candidates for 127 Assembly constituencies.
The announcement comes days after EPS unveiled the first-phase list, which included 23 candidates.
The newly released list covers a wide spread of constituencies across Tamil Nadu, naming candidates for seats including Gummidipoondi, Tiruvallur, Madhavaram, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Tiruchirappalli, Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Madurai, Sivaganga, Virudhunagar and Thoothukudi, among others.
The party also fielded several former ministers and a former MP in the second-phase list, as per the names announced by EPS.
