Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, speaking at an election campaign meeting in Virudhunagar, launched a sharp attack on AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS), alleging that his statements were filled with falsehoods.

Stalin said the “lies” attributed to EPS could “fill a book”, and claimed that EPS was making one claim after another to escape from earlier untruths.

Referring to a remark about K. Kamaraj, Stalin alleged EPS was spreading misinformation and accused him of aligning with the BJP. He further charged EPS with “betrayal”, citing support for the farm laws and alleging betrayal of minorities through the alliance.

Stalin also accused EPS of betraying several leaders within his own party, naming Sasikala, K.A. Sengottaiyan and O. Panneerselvam. He said EPS was uneasy over the government’s promise related to a scheme for homemakers, and criticised EPS’s comments about it.

In his address, Stalin framed the political contest as “Tamil Nadu versus Delhi” and urged people to oppose what he described as forces hostile to Tamil interests. The speech was also streamed live on Dinamalar’s online platforms, including YouTube.
