T.Ve.K. has faced internal unease in the Hosur constituency of Krishnagiri district after changing its candidate for the third time, according to reports.

Party leader and actor Vijay had first announced Manjunath as the candidate. After Manjunath withdrew from the race, Ambareesh was named as the replacement.

However, in a late development, Krishnagiri West district secretary Vendharkarasan, also known as Vadivel, filed the nomination papers as T.Ve.K.’s candidate.

Sources said the move was linked to alleged pressure from Madhu Hemnath, a former Sulagiri union panchayat chairperson who recently joined the party. The repeated changes and confusion have left a section of the Krishnagiri unit dissatisfied.

Political observers also pointed to the uncertainty before the nomination stage as a sign of inexperience among the party’s local functionaries.
