Actor Rajinikanth on Tuesday cautioned youngsters against substance abuse, urging them to stay focused on education and personal health.
Speaking to reporters at Chennai airport, he said young people who closely follow actors should be especially careful, noting that any harm ultimately affects them. He stressed that students must keep their full attention on studies.
Rajinikanth warned that neglecting studies during the learning years could lead to serious difficulties later in life. He asked youngsters to think deeply about their education and priorities.
He also appealed to youth to avoid becoming addicted to alcohol and cannabis, saying such habits can destroy one’s life and turn the lives of parents and family members into misery. He advised staying away from friends who encourage such behaviour.
