Chennai Chief Minister M.K. Stalin travelled on the Chennai Metro on Thursday as part of his campaign for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

During the ride, he interacted with commuters, enquired about their well-being and appealed to them to vote for DMK candidates and those from the party’s alliance.

A few passengers shook hands with him and took selfies. Stalin also discussed the government’s welfare schemes with travellers.

In recent days, he has been meeting people during morning walks and even stopping at roadside tea stalls to speak with the public while campaigning. With 13 days left for the election, campaigning by political parties has intensified across the state.
