Chennai: With just 10 days remaining for polling in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said he is seeing “happiness among the people” and rising enthusiasm among party workers wherever he travels.

In a statement, Stalin linked the public mood to the perceived benefits of the DMK government’s “Dravidian Model” initiatives over the past five years, and to expectations about what he described as a “Dravidian Model 2.0” in the next term.

He called on DMK cadres to stay closely connected with voters in the final stretch, focusing on door-to-door outreach, distributing pamphlets and securing votes in every village. He also urged workers to campaign with equal commitment in constituencies contested by alliance partners.

Stalin expressed confidence that the DMK-led secular progressive alliance would win and form the government again, saying women’s visible cheer, youth confidence and support from minorities and other sections were key foundations. Stressing that every vote matters, he asked cadres to ensure “my booth is a winning booth” through coordinated and tireless work despite summer heat and rains.
