PMK founder S Ramadoss, speaking in Villupuram, launched a sharp attack on Anbumani Ramadoss and his family, calling them “liars” and accusing them of neglecting him during his recent hospitalisations.
Ramadoss said he was admitted to hospital on two occasions and claimed that party workers and members of the public were distressed and prayed for his recovery. However, he alleged that Anbumani, his wife and children did not come to see him and did not even speak to him over the phone to enquire about his health.
He further said that during an earlier episode when he underwent an angiogram, leaders from across Tamil Nadu visited to check on him, but Anbumani and his family did not. He added that Anbumani’s side had been speaking “recklessly” about him, GK Mani and his family.
Ramadoss also accused them of putting on a show of emotion and repeatedly lying in public life, claiming that people had begun to understand what he described as “bundles of lies”.
