NTK (Naam Tamilar Katchi) coordinator Seeman, speaking during election campaigning in the Tambaram Assembly constituency, said he would stop free bus travel and operate only air-conditioned buses, asking commuters to pay fares in return for better-quality roads.

In his speech, he claimed that if given power, he would overhaul Tamil Nadu’s education system—covering teaching methods and infrastructure—and raise it to “world-class” standards. He said education would be provided without charging fees.

Seeman also promised to upgrade government hospitals to match the quality people associate with major private hospitals, and said treatment would be provided without any fee. He said his aim was to restore public confidence in government healthcare.

He further said his government would ban the sale of packaged drinking water and plastic, and promised to deliver clean drinking water to households at no cost. He described free education, free healthcare and free drinking water as key commitments of his proposed “Tamil nationalist” government.
