TVK leader Vijay is reportedly working closely with a Dubai-based private security firm, with its inputs said to be a key reason behind the frequent cancellation of his election campaign events.

The firm, Gentur Security Services, is run by Nayeem Moosa, a Kerala native based in Dubai. The company is said to offer around 200 types of security services across several countries including the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, India, Oman, Malaysia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, with its India head office located in Thrissur, Kerala.

According to party functionaries, Moosa—who serves as the firm’s managing director—is currently overseeing Vijay’s security arrangements. They claim even senior leaders, including general secretary Anand, meet Vijay only after obtaining clearance.

Sources within the party said the security setup was expanded significantly after the “Karur incident”. While earlier only five guards from the firm were deployed, an additional team of about 100 personnel is now said to be tracking Vijay’s campaign travel plans.

The team is described as blending into crowds, using high-end mobile phones and modern technology to monitor congestion in real time and decide whether an event should proceed or be called off. Party sources also claimed Vijay has been spending several lakhs of rupees every month on these arrangements since the Karur incident.
