A video purportedly featuring AIADMK candidate and former MP Prabhakaran speaking about distributing money to voters in Alangulam constituency has gone viral on social media.
According to the report, Prabhakaran is contesting from Alangulam in Tenkasi district. He is said to have held a meeting with AIADMK union secretaries and branch-level functionaries, during which the remarks were made.
In the clip, he is heard allegedly instructing party workers to give Rs 1,000 to each voter. He also reportedly says money should not be given to DMK supporters, while Congress supporters should be given money, and that no one should be turned away if they ask.
The video further claims he cited narrow victory margins—saying even 50 votes can decide the outcome—and referred to a past win in Radhapuram by 40 votes to stress that every vote matters. The clip continues to circulate rapidly online.
