Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Friday indicated strong confidence about the Assembly election outcome when questioned by reporters at the Madurai airport.
Responding to a query on his chances of winning, Stalin raised his thumb and said the prospects were “superb”.
After an intense campaign and with polling completed, the Chief Minister travelled from Chennai to Madurai by flight along with his family. He is scheduled to proceed to Kodaikanal later in the evening by car.
Stalin is expected to stay at a private star hotel in Pambarpuram, a place he has reportedly chosen after previous elections as well. The report notes that he is returning to the same hotel and even the same room, describing it as a sentimental routine following earlier poll victories.
