TVK leader Vijay visited the Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple in Tiruchendur on Tuesday morning and offered prayers during the early hours.

According to the report, he flew from Chennai to Madurai late the previous night and reached Tiruchendur by car around 4 am. He went to the seashore in a battery vehicle, wet his feet, and then proceeded to the temple, where devotees and supporters gathered and took selfies.

After the temple opened around 5 am, Vijay took part in the Viswaroopa darshan and prayed seated on the floor before the main deity. He also worshipped at multiple shrines, including those of Shanmugar, Valli, Deivanai, Dakshinamurthy, Perumal and Soorasamharamoorthy, spending more time at the Samhara shrine.

He later left for Thoothukudi by car and returned to Chennai by private flight. Temple officials said Vijay submitted a signed letter to the administration stating he had full faith in Tiruchendur Subramaniya Swamy and had come for darshan, noting that such a letter is required from non-Hindu visitors as per practice.
