Chennai: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held an urgent consultation at the DMK headquarters, Anna Arivalayam, with Tamil Nadu ministers, constituency in-charges and DMK candidates who contested the Assembly election.
The meeting came after several post-poll surveys and exit poll assessments were released. According to the reports cited, multiple agencies have projected that the DMK could return to power in Tamil Nadu.
With vote counting set for May 4, the discussion focused on the evolving political situation following the publication of the surveys.
Ministers including Duraimurugan, M.R.K. Panneerselvam, E.V. Velu and Periyakaruppan, along with former minister Senthil Balaji, met Stalin in person and held talks during the consultation.
