A small aircraft crashed in Texas after striking trees, killing all five people on board, officials said.
The plane was carrying members of a pickleball club from Amarillo and was headed to New Braunfels Airport. The crash occurred around 11.30 pm on Thursday near Wimberley, about 65 km southwest of Austin.
Authorities said the victims included the pilot and four pickleball players. The names of those who died were not immediately released.
The Amarillo Pickleball Club said the group was travelling to take part in a league competition when the accident happened.
