FIRs registered in Punjab

Punjab Police have registered First Information Reports (FIRs) against Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak, who was elected from Punjab on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ticket.

Joined BJP days ago

Pathak is among seven AAP Rajya Sabha MPs who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a move that drew national attention.

Police have reportedly filed two separate FIRs in different locations. The cases include allegations related to corruption and harassment of women, and have been booked under non-bailable sections, leading to speculation that he could be arrested soon.

MP denies knowledge, calls it vendetta

Responding to the development, Pathak said he was unaware of any FIR and alleged political vendetta. He said he would challenge the action through legal means.
