The NEET examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses began at 2 pm and will run until 5.20 pm. Candidates are allowed into exam centres from 11 am to 1.30 pm, and about 22.79 lakh students are set to take the test nationwide.
In Tamil Nadu, applications for engineering admissions have opened today through the official portal www.tneaonline.org. The application window will remain open until June 2.
In league cricket, two matches are on the schedule today. Hyderabad will face Kolkata at 3.30 pm at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.
