Coimbatore: Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru has called on those who emerged victorious in the recent Assembly elections to carry their mandate forward with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication to the people.
Assembly elections were held last month in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam and the Union Territory of Puducherry, with results announced recently. The National Democratic Alliance won in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry.
In Tamil Nadu, the TVK secured 108 seats, while in Kerala the Congress-led alliance won.
In a social media post, Sadhguru said winners should understand that electoral outcomes are part of democracy’s natural process. He added that it is also a time for self-reflection and for finding ways to serve people beyond the pursuit of power.
He said the dreams and aspirations of the people in these states should be fulfilled, and extended his greetings to all.
