Tamil Nadu’s post-election political situation has turned tense after Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay reportedly failed to secure enough MLA support to form a government.

Amid the uncertainty, more than 20 AIADMK MLAs have reportedly been accommodated at a resort in Puducherry, triggering fresh speculation about possible realignments.

The stay is said to have been arranged by C.V. Shanmugam. MLAs including O.S. Manian, Thalavai Sundaram, Mohan, Arulmozhi Devan, Agri Krishnamurthy and Venkatachalam are among those reported to be at the hotel.

Sources also claim C.V. Shanmugam urged AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) to extend support to TVK. In this backdrop, EPS is expected to travel to Puducherry on Wednesday to meet the MLAs, according to party circles.
