AIADMK MP M. Thambidurai on Thursday said party general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) would take oath again as Chief Minister.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai after meeting EPS, Thambidurai said the public mood and support were in favour of the AIADMK. He described EPS as the party’s leader and said he was confident EPS would deliver good governance.
When asked about reports of talks between the AIADMK and the DMK, Thambidurai said such matters would be addressed by the leaders concerned, reiterating that the party’s general secretary would provide good administration.
His remarks come amid circulating claims that the AIADMK could form a government in association with the DMK, giving his statement added significance.
