VCK president Thol. Thirumavalavan on Thursday announced that the party will hold a high-level committee meeting online at 5 pm on May 8.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai, he said the party would take a decision on whom to support only after seeking the views of VCK office-bearers.
He added that after the evening deliberations, the party’s decision will be announced on Friday morning.
Thirumavalavan said the leadership also wants to hear opinions from party functionaries on the DMK–AIADMK alliance-related developments. He noted that the VCK has not yet decided whether it will support “Thaveka” or not.
