Chennai: AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran visited the Raj Bhavan again on Friday after receiving information that Mannargudi MLA Kamaraj, who was earlier reported missing, would be arriving there.
Dhinakaran had previously submitted a complaint to the Governor stating that the MLA from his party could not be traced and alleging that “horse-trading” was being carried out in Tamil Nadu by actor Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).
After meeting the Governor, Dhinakaran told reporters that a letter submitted in the name of their MLA was fraudulent. He accused TVK of speaking about being a “clean party” while allegedly engaging in wrongdoing.
MLA Kamaraj was present alongside Dhinakaran and also claimed that a letter issued in his name in support of TVK was fake.
Dhinakaran urged that action be taken against TVK functionaries who, he alleged, handed the forged letter to the Governor. He also said a police complaint would be filed.
