Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for TVK leader Vijay after he assumed office as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
The Dharmapuram Adheenam conveyed its wishes, praying for divine grace to guide him towards a righteous and responsible administration.
Writer Jeyamohan said the Chief Minister’s role would not be difficult for Vijay, adding that Tamil people had sought change and expressing hope that positive outcomes would follow.
Kerala’s former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said he hoped the trust placed in Vijay by the people of Tamil Nadu would translate into governance that upholds social justice, secularism and public welfare.
From Sri Lanka, President Anura Dissanayake extended greetings and wished Vijay success in all efforts, while Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said he expected the new chapter to bring progress, compassion and greater understanding where gaps had existed earlier.
