Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam leader Joseph Vijay after he was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
In a post shared in Tamil, Modi wished Vijay a successful tenure and extended his best wishes for the new government.
The Prime Minister said the Union government would continue to work together with the Tamil Nadu government to improve the lives of the people.
The message was issued soon after Vijay assumed office as Chief Minister.
