Chennai: Writer Jeyamohan has said that the Chief Minister’s post would not be difficult for actor-turned-politician Vijay, citing what he described as Vijay’s administrative ability and disciplined planning.
In a statement, Jeyamohan noted that he had written dialogues for Vijay’s film Sarkar, and claimed that several political developments shown in the film later played out in Vijay’s real-life political journey. He said Vijay’s planning—both in film work and financial matters—has been “impeccable,” and that he believes the same approach carries into politics.
Jeyamohan further described Vijay as someone who understands people around him closely and keeps his team within his control, adding that, in his view, it is difficult for others to “handle” Vijay. He also said that even those close to Vijay may not fully grasp what he is thinking unless Vijay himself chooses to reveal it.
According to the statement, Jeyamohan said Sarkar was created to reflect Vijay’s political goals and perspectives. He added that Vijay, while holding Christian faith, also has a strong secular outlook shaped by his family environment, and that his choices while seeking support did not surprise him.
Jeyamohan concluded by saying that Tamil people want change and expressed hope that good outcomes would follow their expectations.
