Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin an official tour of five countries on May 15, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement issued in New Delhi.

According to the MEA, Modi will first travel to the United Arab Emirates on May 15. During the visit, he is scheduled to meet UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

In the second leg, Modi will visit the Netherlands from May 15 to May 17 at the invitation of Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.

The third leg of the tour will take him to Sweden on May 17 and 18, where he will meet Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.

In the fourth leg, Modi will travel to Norway from May 18 to May 19 to strengthen bilateral ties and for the India–Nordic summit. He will then visit Italy on May 19 and 20, the MEA added.
