After assuming office as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Vijay met several political party leaders in person and received their greetings.
Reacting to this, BJP Mahila Morcha national president Vanathi issued a statement appreciating the gesture of meeting leaders from parties that had faced each other directly in the election arena.
At the same time, she raised a question over the choice of meetings, asking why Vijay met only specific leaders.
The remarks come amid continuing political discussion on the new Chief Minister’s outreach to other parties following the formation of the government.
