Actor Ravi Mohan spoke to reporters in Chennai on May 16, saying it was a mistake to remain silent for so long amid intense online criticism surrounding his personal life. He said he had tried to “adjust” and let things go, but felt he was being repeatedly provoked.
Ravi Mohan, son of noted film editor Mohan, married Aarthi in 2009 and the couple have two sons. He is currently living separately and has filed for divorce in court. He also referred to his closeness with singer Kenisha, which has drawn sharp reactions on social media.
He said his films would not release until the divorce is granted, adding that he could not bear what he called unnecessary humiliation. He spoke about working continuously for 23 years in the film industry and said he had supported his family through his earnings.
Ravi Mohan alleged that he is being prevented from seeing his children and claimed his phone had been taken away. He said he had faced serious injustice at home and insisted that “the truth will come out,” asking people to wait.
In an emotional outburst, he also made extreme allegations, including claims of being subjected to “black magic,” and said he had been pushed to a breaking point. He said he would not stay quiet any longer and warned that he would respond to those he believes have wronged him.
