The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday issued orders transferring 17 IAS officers, including the Chennai Corporation Commissioner.
As per the order, K. Gagandeep Singh Bedi has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration, while Kumaragurubaran has been moved out from the Chennai Corporation Commissioner post.
Several key departments also saw changes. Amudha has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary for Cooperation and Food, while Satyapriya Sahu has been appointed Principal Secretary, Water Resources. Sunsonkam Jatak Siru has been posted as Principal Secretary, Public Works, and Anil Meshram as Principal Secretary, Energy.
Among other postings, Vallalar has been named Transport Secretary, Palanisamy as Revenue Secretary, and Dakshinamoorthy as Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare. Sajan Singh R. Chavan has been posted as Secretary, Youth Welfare and Sports, and Prashanth Wadnere as Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
In Chennai-related appointments, Sameeran has been posted as Chennai Corporation Commissioner, Anand as Managing Director of the Chennai Metro Water Board, and Rahulnath as Member Secretary of the CMDA. Arun Sundar Dayalan has been appointed IG of Registration, while Aarthi has been posted as Managing Director of the Women’s Development Corporation, and Dinesh Ponraj Oliver as Managing Director of the Metro Water Board.
