A Dinamalar TV report said Chief Minister Vijay has been taking a series of swift steps since assuming office.

According to the report, one of the first moves was to tighten controls on liquor sales by reducing the number of shops.

It added that the government has now issued an important directive aimed at preventing bribery in public offices.

As per the directive cited in the report, if any government employee demands or accepts a bribe, affected citizens are asked to file a complaint immediately.

The report framed the move as an early step in the administration’s stated push to curb corruption.
