An IndiGo flight scheduled to depart from Vadodara in Gujarat faced a technical glitch, leaving passengers stranded inside the aircraft without lights and air-conditioning for around half an hour.
The Delhi-bound flight, carrying about 160 passengers, was preparing to take off at around 8.40 pm on Sunday night. After all passengers had boarded and taken their seats, the aircraft reportedly developed a sudden technical issue.
As a result, the cabin lights went off and the air-conditioning stopped functioning. Passengers, including children and elderly people, were forced to sit in the dark without ventilation and reportedly experienced discomfort.
The issue was rectified after about 30 minutes. However, the flight eventually departed with a delay of around 1 hour and 20 minutes.
