Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the final leg of his five-nation tour, arrived in Italy and received a warm welcome in the capital, Rome.
He later met Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for discussions covering a range of issues, including bilateral ties and trade.
During the meeting, Modi presented Meloni with a ‘Melody’ chocolate as a gift. Noting the similarity between her name and the chocolate’s name, Meloni recorded a selfie video as both leaders shared a laugh.
Meloni posted the clip on her social media account, thanking Modi for the gift. The light-hearted video has since gone viral.
