Chennai: Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) will be included in the Thaveka-led Tamil Nadu cabinet, party president Thol. Thirumavalavan announced on Wednesday.
Thaveka won the Assembly election, following which Vijay took charge as Chief Minister on May 10 along with a few ministers. The cabinet was expanded on Wednesday, with 23 more ministers taking oath.
Amid questions over whether VCK would get a berth, Thirumavalavan confirmed the party’s inclusion and said Vanniarasu would be sworn in as a minister.
He also said Muslim League leader Shajahan and VCK’s Vanniarasu are scheduled to take oath as ministers on Thursday.
