BJP Tamil Nadu president Nainar Nagendran and Union Minister L Murugan met the family of a young girl who was killed in Coimbatore and expressed their condolences.
During the visit, the leaders spoke to the family members and offered support in the aftermath of the incident.
They also urged that the girl’s family be provided financial assistance of Rs 1 crore.
The visit and the demand for compensation were highlighted as part of the party leaders’ response to the case.
