New Delhi: The BJP on Saturday alleged that Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi is conspiring with foreign forces and attempting to incite violence to topple the Modi government.

The charge comes after Gandhi, speaking at a Congress Minority Department advisory meeting last week, reportedly said that the Modi government would fall within a year.

Responding to the remark, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said in a post on X that Gandhi’s statement points to what he described as a larger conspiracy involving the Congress, other opposition parties and a “toolkit gang” to destabilise India.

Goyal further alleged that, unable to defeat the BJP through elections or remove the government from office, Gandhi and his allies are trying to provoke unrest across the country. He also claimed they cannot tolerate any positive developments in the country.
